PLEASE READ: BEST PRACTICES:
- Clean parts, whether, metal, plastic or styrene with water and a small amount of dish detergent.
- Shake paint well prior to using.
- Recommended air pressure 28-35psi.
- Use Tru-Color primer (007) for best results. For metal bake metal at low temp (<200F) or place under sun lamp for 60 minutes to cure. Brass must be sand blasted prior to priming. Styrene (e.g. Evergreen or Plastruct) should be primed.
- Use Tru-Color thinner (015) and retarder (310) as it contains multiple chemicals. Do not use alternate thinner and retarder brands with Tru-Color paint and do not use these with other paint brands.
- To protect painted project, flat or a gloss finish recommended.
- Do not mix Tru-Color paint with other paint brands to create alternate colors.
- Tru-Color can be sprayed over other brands, but test in an inconspicuous area first.
- If rough or blushing finish occurs, slightly increase air pressure and/or use thinner (015) or retarder (310) to slow drying process.
- Wipe jar lip and secure lid tightly; always store upright.
- If masking, use low tack tape to prevent peeling. Tru-Color masking recommended.
- Use acetone (nail polish remover) for cleanup.
